How often should you change your bed sheets?

We should change our bedsheets at most every two weeks. The main reason is for hygiene, as sweating during the night can cause a build-up of bacteria. If you have ever tried sleeping in summer weather conditions, you understand how challenging it can be to get a good night’s rest.

Fact

In Japan, napping at work is honorable.

In Japan, napping at your job is seen as a sign of diligence—you worked so much to the point of exhaustion. The Japanese call it inemuri, which translates to “present while sleeping.”

Myth

You should apply deodorant in the morning.

While it seems logical to apply deodorant before you head out the door for an exertion-filled day, you’d actually be better off rolling it on the night before.

Because deodorant should always be applied to clean, dry skin, it’s best to shower in the evening, pat your skin dry with a towel and then apply deodorant. If you miss the fresh scent of deodorant, it’s okay to apply again in the morning. However, this is more for your own comfort level than anything else.
